    Technical Events

    1. Khoj – the search continues

      • Web Crawler: The contestants will have to search for rare data from the net.
      • Google Whacking:Get exactly one result on Google. Try it.

      These are fun events aimed at making
      the fest more accessible.

      Entry fee:Rs 10 each

    2. Shopping Buzz – Online Shopping Mall

      The ultimate experience of online shopping.
      A chance to test your Shopping Skills against shopping freaks from all
      over Mumbai. This event attracts maximum female participation.

    3. Mock Stock

      An event to tap the business potential
      in a technocrat. This competition will create a virtual stock exchange
      thrown open to the participants. A very popular event.

      A web designing/programming contest
      where the participants will test their professional web designing skills.

      Use mirrors to create a path

    Robotics - Prizes worth Rs. 10000

    1. Force India - (Wired And Wireless)

      The General rules for this competition are as follows

      • The Objective of this track is to complete the race in fastest possible time.
      • Each team should consists of maximum four members.
      • The robots should be made out of any material but not readymade chassis of toy cars or other such things
      • The weight of the robot should not exceed 3kg
      • The weight of the robot should not exceed 10”X10”X10”
      • Use of mechano kits or Lego kit parts is not allowed and the robot will be disqualifies if found using one
      • The Robot should not be touched once placed on the track
      • DC power supply will be provided to the participants OR they may get their own supply
      • If the robot damages the track in anyway, it will be disqualified
      • The rules are subject to change and all decisions made by the organizers will be final and binding.

      ENTRY FEE : Rs. 30 per
      robot per event

    2. Braille Driving - (Wired)

      The General rules for this
      competition are:

      • In this event one of the participant(driver) will be blindfolded and his partner will give him directions
      • Each team should consists of maximum four members.
      • The robots should be made out of any material but not readymade chassis of toy cars or other such things
      • The weight of the robot should not exceed 3kg
      • The weight of the robot should not exceed 10”X10”X10”
      • Use of mechano kits or Lego kit parts is not allowed and the robot will be disqualifies if found using one
      • The Robot should not be touched once placed on the track
      • DC power supply will be provided to the participants OR they may get their own supply

    3. Robolympics - (Wired)

      In this event, there will a host of events and points will be awarded in each event. The robot with
      the maximum points after all the events wins.

    FINE ARTS

    1. Mehndi

      • Entry fee = Rs 5/-
      • No copying of designs
        from printed books.
      • Mehndi cones have
        to be brought by participants else will be provided for Rs 10/-.
      • Maximum time provided : 1hr.
      • No of participants : 1
    2. Rangoli

      • No copying of designs
      • Colours have to
        be brought by participants if not they’ll be provided for Rs.10/-.
      • Maximum time provided : 3 hrs.
      • No of participants : 1
    3. Camaraderie

      • Entry fee = Rs 5/-
      • Click pictures from
        your cameras based on a theme of our choice.
      • Best picture wins.
        Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
      • No of participants : 1
    4. Blindfold Logo Making

      • Entry fee = Rs 5/-
      • Logo to be drawn
        and material required will be provided.
      • No of participants : 2
    5. Collage Making

      • No copying of designs.
      • Newspapers and other
        scrap articles have to be brought by participants if not it’ll be
        provided for Rs 5/-.
      • No of participants : 1
    6. Face / T-shirt / Pot Painting

      • Entry fee: Face
        painting = Rs 5/- , T-shirt painting = Rs 20/- , Pot painting = Rs 10/-
      • No copying of designs.
      • Maximum time provided : 1hr
      • No of participants : 1
    7. Picture Risk

      • Entry fee : Rs 5/-
      • Required material
        will be provided.
      • No of participants : 2
    8. Tattooing

      • Entry fee : Rs 5/-
      • No copying designs.
      • Maximum time provided : ½ hr.
      • No of participants : 1

    PERFORMING ARTS

    1. ANTAKSHARI:

      • Eliminations and
        finals on the same day.
      • In 1 elimination
        round there will be 4 teams. In each team there will be 3 participants.
      • No Re-entries allowed.
      • On the spot entries
        will be accepted if limit not exceeded.
    2. HINDI/ENGLISH SOLO SINGING:

      • Maximum time on
        stage is 4 min.
      • 1mukhada and antra
        compulsory for eliminations(ONLY Hindi Singing).
      • Can change songs
        for finals.
      • Eventheads can participate.
      • Participants will
        be penalized as deemed fit by the judges if he/she exceeds the time
        limit.
      • Beats or tones other
        than piano mode (for keyboard) and pick-up on electric guitars are not
        allowed.
      • On the spot entries
        will be accepted only before eliminations.
    3. HINDI/ENGLISH DUET SINGING:

      • Maximum time on
        stage is 6 min.
      • 1mukhada and antra
        compulsory for eliminations.
      • Can change songs
        for finals.
      • Eventheads can participate.
      • Participants will
        be penalized as deemed fit by the judges if he/she exceeds the time
        limit.
      • Beats or tones other
        than piano mode (for keyboard) and electric guitars effects are not
        allowed.
      • On the spot entries
        will be accepted only before eliminations.
    4. INSTRUMENTAL:

      • The instruments
        may be selected as preferred by the participants.
      • You are required
        to perform using your own instruments.
      • For convenience
        sake, it is preferred that the participants using electric pick-ups,
        electric guitars to get their own extensions.
      • The time for the
        performance of the piece should not exceed 6min.
    5. SOLO/GROUP DANCE:

      • Maximum time on
        stage is 6min(Solo)/8min(Group).
      • Language: English/
        Hindi
      • Maximum no. of participants
        is 6-15.
      • Bring songs on CDs.
      • Keep 1 CD for backup.
      • Any kind of vulgarity
        not accepted.
      • No use of inflammable
        items.
      • Judges decision
        will be final.
      • Participants will
        be penalized as deemed fit by the judges if he/she exceeds the time
        limit.
      • On the spot entries
        allowed (ONLY for Solo Dance).
      • Points would be
        awarded for Theme, Choreography, Costumes, Props Used, Co-ordination
        and Overall Impact.
      • Any team not ready
        by the specified time is disqualified.
      • Performance order
        will be allotted as per the order of registration.

      Sit down and play the “Beautiful Game” at a different level.

      Travel across the expanse of this neighborhood, finding clues and completing daunting tasks .Welcome to the real adventurous game that will blow your mind and test your mettle. (This race will be played at a large scale, covering borivali.)

      Build a working model on the basis of the theme given by using only scrap.
